The 55th MWGA Junior Championship will be held at Crown Pointe Golf Club on June11-12, 2015 in Farmington,, MO.  Juniors of all ages through 18 year old high school seniors will meet to compete for the Junior Championship title and also a spot on the Missouri Junior Girls Four State Championship team.  The event is a 36 hole stroke play competition, with the 16-18 year olds playing the Championship tees and 14-15 year olds and under playing at a reduced yardage..  A practice round will be played on June 10th with a mandatory rules meeting (exeption: 9 hole competitors) for the competitors and presentation of the 2015 MWGEA Scholarship Recipients. Our Rules Director will talk about specific local rules that would impact play during the championship and will answer general rules questions from the players and parents.

There is a special 9 Hole event that will be held during the first round of the tournament that is for all skill levels to compete but feel they are not yet comfortable for tournament play.   It’s a great place for girls who haven’t started competing in 18 hole events to come out and compete for the nine hole division awards!

Scholarship Reception: MWGEA Scholarships will be awarded to to the 2015 recipients at a reception following the rules meeting.    Please visit the Scholarship Recipients section of this website to learn more about some of our past recipients and how you can apply for a scholarship from the Missouri Women's Golf Education Association.
